Violet needs bright but diffused light for 10-12 hours a day, and direct sunlight (especially from a south-facing window) can burn the leaves.
The plant does not like drafts or cold windowsills, as cold temperatures and moisture can cause the roots to rot.
Irrigation and humidity:
The soil should be slightly moist, but not constantly wet, as this can lead to root rot.
Pour warm water slightly above room temperature, taking care not to wet the leaves.
